What Is It?
Engineering the Apex is Flatout Sim Racing’s one-of-a-kind summer mini-camp where kids get to live out their racing dreams—while learning real-world STEM concepts. It’s the perfect blend of adrenaline and education.
Over five half-days, campers jump into professional-grade racing simulators, powered by iRacing, to explore six motorsport disciplines—Sports Cars, Formula Cars, Oval Racing, Dirt Oval, Rallycross, and Off-Road. But it’s not just about driving—it’s about understanding the science behind every turn, pass, and apex.
What will they learn?
Your child will be guided through the core physics of racing:
- Grip, traction, & friction
- Weight transfer & balance
- Racing lines & cornering
- Aerodynamics & downforce
- How real drivers apply science to win races
This isn’t bad screen time—they’ll be developing critical thinking, real-world STEM skills, and racer instincts in a fun, social environment.
